Bubrah Temple

Bubrah temple is located in the tourist area of Prambanan, namely in Hamlet Bener, Bugisan Village, District Prambanan, Klaten regency, Central Java Province. Not much information is obtained about the temple which currently resides in the form of ‘shelf’ (foot temple) that have been damaged and former rock pile wall. The name ‘Bubrah’ in Javanese means falling apart. It is not clear whether this temple is called Bubrah because when it was discovered the condition is already in a state (Bubrah) mess or because that’s his name.

The size is relatively small Buddhist temple with a rectangular ground-plan, elongated north-south direction. Exact size can not be obtained because of the ruins of the temple is surrounded by a fence is locked. High shelf (foot) temple about 2 m. Along the upper seam is decorated with carvings symmetrical pattern. No visible remnants of the reliefs on the walls of the temple foot. Stairs up to the lobby on the surface of the shelf is located on the east.
