Back to nature and historical place in our land today, Batu Tegi is the name of big floodgate which is available in Lampung province. It becomes more popular in Lampung since government look after and cover it as a landmark that has big potential to other society. This big floodgate “Batu Tegi” actually has two functions not only for holding water that can cause big flood, it also uses to electric sources in Lampung. Besides its function Batu Tegi floodgate is the biggest floodgate or Watergate in South East Asian.

Base on the history from many sources which is established in Lampung conservation agency, this place is created when Japan colonialism in Indonesia that constructed using Germany method to strengthen the building so that it can hold much of water pressure.

Nowadays, it becomes one way of flowing Water River in all Lampung regions like in Metro, East Lampung, Central Lampung, West Lampung, and South Lampung. Furthermore, Batu Tegi flood gate is best alternative tourism place for some people to see how beautiful Lampung is. Batu tegi floodgate locates in Tanggamus, of course it makes the only one different thing in with another Watergates in Indonesia.

There we can see a big floodgate which is surrounded by green mountains. Pure water and fresh air will bring you into the best relaxation place ever. In the other hand, Batu Tegi floodgate also offer some places to challenge your adrenaline in Moto track, there you can rent a motorcycle to pass challenging track of road in surrounding the mountain. Moreover, there is a quite large space field to do outbound and hiking. It usually uses for boy scouts to do a lot of activities such as camping, climbing, and other acts that related to recognize our nature and how to conserve environment.
