Maluk Beach

Maluk Beach located in Sumbawa, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. Maluk beach is a stunning white sandy beach that arcs around to form a small bay. From Maluk beach visitors can see the beautiful of Maluk Bay.

Many surfers have visited Maluk Beach to try the waves. The type of wave in Maluk Beach is called “Super Suck”, which is one of the best waves for surfing. The waves can reach a height of more than two meters.

Visitors can also see the sea turtle conservation. There are several species of sea turtles being conserved, such as Black Turtles, Green Turtles, and Scales Turtles. If visitors are lucky, they can help releasing baby sea turtles to the shore.

There are some facilities in this beach, like public showers, areas for volleyball and playing grounds for children. Besides that, there are restaurants serving a menu of mostly delicious sea food. A few expat bars are located in town as well and also hotels too.

From the capital city of West Nusa Tenggara, it takes 6 hours to reach Maluku beach, including 2 hours by ferry from Kayangan Port (Lombok) and the rest done overland.
