Sri Gethuk Waterfall
Sri Gethuk waterfall also referred to as Niagara Slempret. Slempret name itself comes from the legend in the village Bleberan. According to the story circulating in the community, this is its waterfall genie with the head of Jin Anggo Menduro.
Sri Gethuk Waterfall is one of the natural tourist attraction located in the hamlet Menggoran, Bleberan Village, District Playen, Gunung Kidul Regency, Yogyakarta. This waterfall is located on the banks of the River Oya. This waterfall is under development to become the mainstay of tourist destinations Gunungkidul apart from the coast and karst mountains.
This waterfall stems from three springs: Kedungpoh, Ngandong, and Ngumbul. The third source of water flowing into one and form water droplets that fall on barren karst rock cliffs
